Trinity Biotech, a pharmaceutical company planned new office facilities on a Greenfield site at the Bray Business Park. The structural form of the 3-storey building was a steel braced-frame with lightweight metal deck roof, pre-cast floors and curtain-wall façade to all aspects. DBFL provided civil and structural services.
Responsibilities were:
• Carry out detailed analysis and design of all structural steelwork and foundations.
• Prepare structural steelwork and reinforced concrete tender packages.
• Co-ordinate all building services and cladding interfaces into the structural design.
• Attend design team meetings and site meetings during construction.
• Review steelwork and precast concrete fabrication drawings.
• Carry out inspections during construction.
